Silence is consent. Silence is permission. Silence is encouragement.

Staying silent because we can isn’t neutrality. It’s being part of the oppression.

The violences against BIPOC has prompted me to document my intrinsic and learned bigotry and how I am attempting to combat it. The only way to truly shift the culture is to start with our own minds. "Not being a racist" is not enough. We must learn the history of injustice from which we benefit and pay homage to those our people have wronged.
